The lodge front is wrapped by a wide porch with lots of space for cloud watching and outdoor gatherings.

Visitors will find the same activities that have always been part of life at Monument Lake Resort: softball, horseshoes and tournaments, volleyball and badminton, fishing tournaments.

Nonviolent video games are located in the laundry area. Guests may check out games at the front desk. Books are offered in the office on a take-a-book, leave-a- book basis.

We're planning lots of special events for both daytrippers and guests. Check back soon to see what's happening at Monument Lake Resort in its fourth year of operation under new management!

16th Annual Stonewall Fishing Tournament

Registration: 7 a.m.
Orientation: 8 a.m.
Fishing: 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Awards: 4 p.m.

No fishing license required this day. Monument Lake Park vehicle entrance fee collected at the gate. Boats not permitted. Bait available. Trout and salmon only.

Seasonal Fishing Contest

Largest fish by weight caught during the 2011 summer season will receive a 2-night stay for 2 in the lodge (holidays excluded).

Fish must be brought to the Store by the Shore in a fresh-caught state the day of catch. It will be weighed and photographed and logged in.
